In 2017 I was buying my first apartment and, even though it was the biggest purchase of my life, I realized I have very weak overview of the real estate market. Thinking about it in this way was very scary. I imagine many people go through this process, and end up relying on tribal knowlegde of the real estate agents and intuition.
I decided to gather statistics of the real estate for sale and rent, to make my next purchase more informed.
On this site, I would like to publish real estate data visualization, and also other interesting content. Even though my plots and maps are very experimental, I will only work with real-life data.
I use python stack - pandas, bokeh, jupyter, plotly.
